Cobb County Sheriff's Office to Host Second GED Graduation Ceremony of 2025
MARIETTA, GA (May 1, 2025) – The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with Cobb Adult Education, will recognize the hard work and determination of individuals who have earned their GEDs through a special graduation ceremony inside the Adult Detention Center on May 1, 2025.
This marks the second GED graduation hosted by the sheriff’s office this year, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to rehabilitation through education. By providing meaningful academic opportunities, the program equips participants with the tools needed to pursue employment and further education, ultimately aiding successful reentry and helping to reduce recidivism.
