The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office Public Safety Cadet Program is dedicated to inspiring, educating, and preparing young individuals for a future in law enforcement and public service. Through hands-on training, leadership development, and community engagement, we equip cadets with the skills and knowledge necessary to serve with integrity, professionalism, and dedication.

About the Program
The Public Safety Cadet Program provides young adults, ages 14-20, with hands-on training in law enforcement procedures, physical fitness, and leadership skills. Cadets will have the opportunity to:
- Participate in ride-alongs and field training exercises.
- Learn about criminal justice, investigations, and public safety operations.
- Engage in community service projects and outreach initiatives.
- Compete in state and national law enforcement competitions.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the program, applicants must:
- Be between the ages of 14-20.
- Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA in school.
- Have no criminal history.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in law enforcement and public service.
- Be willing to commit to training and community service activities.
