Realign Restart Initiative

Cobb Works, in partnership with Cobb County Adult Detention Center, Construction Ready and Chattahoochee Technical College have implemented a re-entry initiative within the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. This re-entry initiative addresses a critical need within the community. To reduce recidivism, the project establishes a workforce development education, employment and training program located at Cobb Works and in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. The program improves incarcerated individual's outcomes, raise education and skill levels and create a skilled and talented pipeline for local employers. This outsourced initiative that focuses on the GED program and the Construction ready program.
