Office of Communications

The Office of Communications (OC) is responsible for coordinating a comprehensive effort to inform the public of the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) goals, plans, and activities through various media outlets. We also oversee, guide, plan, and coordinate the writing, publication, and production of all communication products – printed materials, photos/videos, website, and social media postings —including briefing materials for the Sheriff and other executive and command staff presenting to internal and external publics with interest in public safety.

OC fulfills Sheriff’s Owens’ obligation to tell the CCSO story, keep the citizens of Cobb County informed, and help establish conditions that lead to confidence in the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office and its readiness to conduct law enforcement operations.
